I serve in public life with a simple aim: to lead with a civic heart.

As President of American Baptist Churches USA and Councilman for the Borough of Pottstown, I work at two very different scales—a national denomination and a Pennsylvania Borough—but the posture is the same. Listen first. Tell the truth plainly. Build bridges in places that prefer lines.

In denominational life, that means championing a movement shaped by pluralism, empathy, and servant leadership: elevating voices from every corner of a diverse body so our shared witness is clearer in public and stronger within our fellowship. In Pottstown, it means practical, citizen‑first governance—meeting neighbors where they are, explaining trade‑offs, and turning community priorities into workable plans for streets and safety, parks and public spaces, housing and small businesses.

Whether the room seats a thousand or fifteen, I measure leadership by trust: Are people better heard, better informed, and better able to shape the future we share? My commitment is to steady, bridge‑building work that serves the whole community—not just a faction.

American Baptist Churches USA

Beginning January 2026, I serve as President of one of the most theologically, racially, and politically diverse Christian denominations in the United States, working to champion pluralism, empathy, and servant leadership across more than 5,000 churches with 1.3 million members. My focus is simple and steady: listen deeply, build bridges, and strengthen our shared witness so the whole Body—not just a faction—is served.

Borough of Pottstown

Elected to Borough Council to serve the people of Pottstown, I focus on practical, citizen‑first governance: listening well, communicating clearly, and turning community priorities into workable plans. My work centers on everyday life—streets and safety, parks and public spaces, housing, small businesses, and transparent budgeting—connecting neighborhood voices with decision‑making and moving good ideas from conversation to action for the whole town.

Board Leadership

My board and advisory work is an extension of the same civic heart that guides my public roles. As a judge for the Daytime Emmy Awards, a board member for Grown Up Dad, and an associate director of the Pottstown Film Festival, I help steward platforms that shape how our communities see themselves. These seats are not just honors; they are opportunities to champion integrity, widen who gets represented, and ensure that stories, resources, and recognition flow toward the people and places that are too often overlooked.
